Getting the Word Out to High Schools About Great Careers at South Coast College

Kristina Tan and Keith GreerThanks to Kristina Tan and Keith Greer for representing South Coast College at the Santa Ana High School Career and College Recruitment Fair, and thank you to the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute and the Santa Ana Unified School District for putting together such a great event for high school students! — at Santa Ana High School.  South Coast College has a number of great careers for high school students.  Medical Assistant is a perfect departure point for getting off to a good start in the medical field.  Keith Greer, who is pictured here, obtained his Medical Assistant Certificate from South Coast College immediately after three tours in the military.  He is now pursuing his nursing degree.  Kristina Tan, also pictured here, received her B.A. in English from UCLA before deciding to attend South Coast College to become a court reporter.  High school students may enroll directly out of high school in court reporting and have a financially rewarding career.  Another option for high school students is to take the Paralegal Program that leads to challenging, rewarding careers in the legal profession.
